#稳定币应用场景 Today I saw the event in Venezuela, and a thought flashed through my mind—**how much power do stablecoins really hold in the real world**.

Did you know? When a country is under international sanctions and its traditional financial system is frozen, what does USDT become? It becomes their lifeline. According to reports, the Venezuelan state oil company ultimately requested to settle 80% of its oil revenue in USDT. Imagine a sovereign nation being forced to conduct international trade using a decentralized stablecoin—this is not only financial innovation but also a **bypass of traditional power structures**.

This case reveals the real application scenario of stablecoins: they are not some esoteric technical concept, but in extreme situations like geopolitical conflicts and economic sanctions, they provide an alternative path for participants excluded from the traditional financial system. Gold can be frozen, US dollar accounts can be frozen, but USDT transfers on the blockchain cannot be stopped.

Of course, this also reminds us that stablecoins themselves are not absolutely neutral—Tether has frozen some related wallets. But the point is, **the more decentralized options there are, the weaker the control of a single entity**. If there were truly multi-chain, multi-issuer stablecoin ecosystems, this single point of failure could be greatly reduced.

That’s why I am so optimistic about the future of Web3—every geopolitical crisis proves the necessity of decentralized financial infrastructure.
