Recently re-evaluated the infrastructure of the stablecoin sector, and Plasma's chain is indeed quite interesting.

The core advantages are quite clear: USDT transfers with zero Gas fees, which is a necessity for payment applications. Sub-second finality confirmation combined with thousands of TPS concurrency capabilities can basically handle high-frequency trading scenarios. Fully EVM compatible means existing ecosystems can migrate without learning costs, and the Bitcoin security anchoring adds an extra layer of security.

From the application perspective, this combination covers several typical scenarios: cross-border remittances can achieve instant settlement, DeFi traders no longer need to worry about Gas fees, and merchant settlement costs are directly minimized.

On the token economy layer, XPL supports governance and staking functions. More importantly, the stablecoin market is still in the expansion stage. Real payment demands are growing, and the value of infrastructure will be released accordingly. This type of Layer 1 designed specifically for payments should be able to carve out a share in the long run.

Not blindly optimistic; mainly because the demand for the payment track is indeed there, and Plasma's design philosophy and current state are quite well aligned.

Zero gas fees are really attractive, but I just want to ask, can Plasma's security really hold up? It seems like it still needs time for validation.

Zero gas fees sound great, but are there really that many people using it in actual payment scenarios? I want to see real data; otherwise, it's just another "pie-in-the-sky" project. Honestly, who still uses on-chain payments these days? Most of it is just the whales having fun. Whether Plasma can break through depends on the subsequent operations. But to be fair, if the stablecoin market is truly expanding, this infrastructure does have room for imagination. I'm just worried it might become another tool for cutting leeks. No matter how high TPS is touted, it’s useless without real transaction volume to support it; otherwise, it’s just a dragon-slaying skill. I need to take a closer look at XPL's staking mechanism and the project's true intentions. These kinds of things are the easiest to hide tricks.

Zero gas fees really hit home for me, but with so many payment chains, why is it Plasma's turn?

Zero-gas transfers sound great, but can they really beat Arbitrum? It's a bit uncertain.

Zero gas fees sound great, but will real-world scenarios be that smooth?

Zero gas fees sound great, but I've heard this kind of promise too many times... Buy the dip, sell on the rebound, don't be blinded by the design logic.

Zero gas fees sound great, but how does it actually perform? Whether Plasma can withstand traffic surges still depends on the situation.

Zero gas sounds great, but who will bear the real liquidation risk? No one dares to openly discuss validator concentration.

Zero gas fees really hit the pain point, but you guys know what the stablecoin race has become now.
