Looking at ETHBTC's technical setup right now is genuinely striking. The pair has printed 10 consecutive 50-week candles without any meaningful upside, spanning roughly 500 weeks or over 3,500 days. Even more telling—we haven't seen back-to-back green 50-week closes since 2021. Before that, the last time ETHBTC posted a move exceeding ±10% was way back in January 2021.

Put these three data points together and the picture becomes hard to ignore. This prolonged consolidation with minimal volatility, combined with the absence of consecutive bullish closes on the macro timeframe, suggests we're potentially sitting on the edge of a significant move. When a market stays this range-bound after such an extended period, something has to give.

This breakout is coming, holding it in for so long, it definitely needs to move.

No activity for 500 weeks? That must be so boring.

This has to break through, right? We've been holding back for so long, we have to make a move.

No significant rally in 500 weeks. This isn't technical analysis; it's basically the market engaging in a very long-term price discovery game... I really need to do the math and figure out when the breakthrough will happen.

Wait, has ETHBTC really been inactive for so long? Over 500 weeks without a decent increase, that's really outrageous.
