#数字资产市场动态 What is the next step for on-chain settlement of stablecoins?

One idea worth paying attention to is—when trading counterparts upgrade from traditional payments to on-chain settlement, can the entire experience truly overcome the previous bottlenecks?

Currently, many Layer1s are working on stablecoin optimization, but few have truly integrated the "zero fee + instant confirmation" combo. Some projects take a straightforward approach: native support for USDT zero-fee transfers, using BFT consensus to achieve transaction finality in 1 second, meaning that from initiation to on-chain settlement is just a breath away. Coupled with an EVM-compatible base layer, the migration barrier for developers is significantly lowered.

Even more interesting is ecosystem deployment—native BTC cross-chain bridges connect Bitcoin side, providing a foothold for stablecoin settlement infrastructure. Just look at the data: total on-chain stablecoin deposits have exceeded $1 billion, with over 50 partners, covering payment scenarios in over 100 countries worldwide. The experience of daily transfers and on-chain financial management has indeed improved significantly.

Ecosystem participants can participate in platform co-construction and share growth dividends by holding relevant governance tokens $XPL. The stablecoin infrastructure track is still in its early stages; those who enter now can witness technological iterations and seize opportunities for ecosystem growth.

Zero fees sound great, but I'm afraid it might just be another scheme to cut the leeks in the end.

Zero fees sound great, but how many can truly stabilize? Feels like just another hype.

nah wait, if you look at the data the TVL numbers seem kinda sus tbh... 10B in stablecoin deposits but only 50 partners? that correlation coefficient is off

Zero transaction fees sound great, but there are very few projects that can truly go live in just 1 second. This BFT consensus sounds powerful, and if it can settle instantly, it will completely change the game rules. A billion dollars in deposits, huh? Honestly, it still depends on whether it can hold up in the future. $XPL governance token is interesting, but early entry carries significant risks, so take it slow. Everyone talks about connecting to Bitcoin's sidechain, but what about compliance? These aspects haven't been mentioned. Suddenly remembered that traditional payments are so lagging; can on-chain settlement really leap forward in one step? Fifty partners sound impressive, but how many are actually doing real work? If this combo truly works, old projects will have a tough time, huh.

Zero fees sound great, but can it really settle in 1 second? I still need to see real data to be convinced.

Zero fees sound great, but can it really be confirmed in 1 second? That's a bit doubtful.

Zero fees sound great, but can it really be done in 1 second? I think we still need to wait and see the actual implementation performance.

Settlement on the go? Sounds pretty cool, but how many actually use it? Probably mostly hype. I'm tired of the zero-fee talk. The question is, how long can it last? Has the BTC bridge been connected? A few days ago, I was still criticizing the security of some bridge. It depends on the long-term. A billion in deposits sounds huge, but when spread across hundreds of payment scenarios, it’s quite disappointing. How many are actually active daily? I've been following $XPL for a long time, but now buying this kind of ecosystem token feels a bit like a gamble. Early entry definitely offers opportunities, but it’s really just a matter of luck.

Zero fees are indeed attractive, but can 1-second confirmation truly be reliable? I just want to know if it can hold up under high concurrency or if it's just empty talk.
