Dusk has been committed to the path of "compliance + privacy" since 2018, steadily laying the foundation in the Layer 1 blockchain arena. Recent developments can be seen as taking this approach to a new stage—the node for the 2026 ecosystem explosion is now within reach.
From a technical perspective, the biggest breakthrough is the official launch of the DuskEVM mainnet in the second week of January. This EVM-compatible solution solves an old problem: developers no longer need to worry about cross-chain integration. Standard Solidity smart contracts can be deployed directly, with settlement occurring on Layer 1. The barrier for global institutions and development teams to access the Dusk ecosystem has been significantly lowered.
More interestingly, the Hedger system—combining zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption—achieves both privacy protection and transaction auditability within the EVM environment. This is practically tailor-made for regulated financial scenarios. Hedger Alpha is already online, preliminarily validating the practicality of this solution.
The ecosystem's actions are even more aggressive. In partnership with NPEX, a Dutch exchange holding full licenses for MTF, Broker, and ECSP, they launched the first RWA application, DuskTrade. This project is scheduled for official launch in 2026, at which point over €300M of tokenized securities will be on-chain. Consider what this scale signifies.

The path of compliance and privacy is indeed stable in the long run, Dusk has something special.
However, EVM compatibility is now something almost everyone is doing. The key is whether Hedger can truly be implemented.
If RWA can really get off the ground, a scale of 300M is quite interesting. Didn't we say 2026? Let's wait and see.

actually, homomorphic encryption + zk proofs in one system is... honestly worth paying attention to here. most projects just slap privacy labels and call it a day, but this actually does the cryptographic legwork. the audit trail part though? that's where it gets interesting for regulated markets.

I believe in the compliant privacy route, but will there really be a breakout in 2026? Who knows what the regulatory landscape will look like then.

The compliance and privacy combo really does look different.

The combination of compliance + privacy is really excellent, Dusk has seen through it long ago.
If Hedger can truly run in financial scenarios, institutions will really take it seriously.
€300M on the chain? If it can be implemented by 2026, that will be an ecological explosion.
DuskEVM has lowered the barriers, will developers flock in?
RWA has always been spoken about nicely, but few have actually pushed it forward. If Dusk can pull it off, that's truly impressive.
Privacy audits can be achieved simultaneously; this approach is indeed unique.
No hype, no blackening; this team has been honing their craft for eight years and really has some skills.
Let's wait and see how 2026 turns out, just don't talk without doing.
Is NPEX reliable? I need to research European exchanges.
Now everyone can boast about zero-knowledge proofs, but the key is whether users will actually use it.
It sounds good, but I’ll just keep dollar-cost averaging.
Lower barriers might attract a bunch of trash projects.
No matter how strong the technical stack is, the ecosystem needs to keep up, or it’s all in vain.
Can this €300M truly ensure on-chain deployment, or is it just hype?
Compliance is a very difficult path; it's not easy to persist until now.

Compliance + Privacy combo punch, it really has some substance.
DuskEVM lowers the barrier, Hedger focuses on auditing and privacy, it looks like they are seriously working on regulated financial services.
€300M of RWA on the chain, if this really materializes, it will be remarkable.
What will 2026 look like? Let's keep observing.

Compliance + privacy is indeed a tough path, but the figure of €300M on the chain looks a bit uncertain.
