Once the original intention of sharing is tainted with greed, the entire atmosphere is spoiled. This is a question worth reflecting on for platforms.

Think about why early crypto enthusiasts flocked to Twitter. It was mainly two things: first, to catch project updates in real-time, and to see the latest statements from V God and Elon Musk. That was genuine demand. But now? A large number of people come just to create accounts, connect with projects, or do product promotion. One marketing account after another, piles of soft advertisements. When everyone has the same purpose, you’ll find— the original informational value is completely lost.

The purity that once existed has gradually disappeared under the drive for profit. Content quality declines, signal-to-noise ratio sharply worsens, and those genuinely seeking information find it increasingly difficult to access useful content.

Platforms can actually make some adjustments here. For example, strengthen community governance, optimize content filtering mechanisms, or give more exposure to genuine discussions and valuable sharing. Ultimately, for the ecosystem to stay vibrant, those who come to communicate and seek knowledge need to regain their voice. Otherwise, the entire community’s tone will be completely changed.

It used to be truly pure in the early days. Now, every circle is full of sponsored dogs, so annoying.

I'm already fed up. It's all just marketing accounts shouting, and useful information is completely drowned out.

yeah, this is exactly the velocity trap nobody talks about. when the incentive structure shifts from "sharing alpha" to "farming engagement," signal-to-noise ratio just... implodes. watched this play out in tradfi too—soon as monetization enters, authenticity exits stage left. the tokenomics of attention are broken tbh.

That's so true. Browsing Twitter now is like watching a live shopping broadcast, each one more impressive than the last.

To be honest, the Twitter crypto community is now just a large marketing exhibition. Who is still seriously discussing technology? That's why I browse Twitter less and less, it's all soft advertisements from project teams. The atmosphere from early days really can't be restored; once the利益链 (interest chain) is formed, it's over.
