Everyone on the X platform has their own goals, but to be honest, most people are mainly concerned with how to make money. Today, we'll break down the four most mainstream monetization methods currently on the X platform, all of which are practical and worth saving.

**Ad Revenue Sharing — The Most Stable "Iron Rice Bowl"**

This is X's most direct way of "paying wages," commonly called "basic living allowance" in the community. The principle is simple: X places ads in your post comment sections, and you get paid based on how many times these ads are viewed by verified (blue V) users. It sounds like revenue sharing from a major public account's traffic, but there's a key difference — your total views don't matter; what matters is how many blue V users see the ads. Views from regular users are almost useless, and their contribution to income is minimal.

To activate this, you need to meet three conditions: first, you must be a Premium member (have a blue V); second, your posts must have accumulated 5 million organic impressions in the past 3 months; third, you need to have at least 500 blue V followers.

**Creator Subscription — Build Your Private Circle**

X also supports a paid subscription model, similar to a fan group. You set a monthly fee, and after fans pay, they can receive an exclusive badge, view your paid exclusive posts, and participate in your private voice rooms. This is a good additional income channel for creators with a solid fan base.

The activation conditions are also threefold: you must be a Premium member; your impressions in the past 3 months must reach 5 million; and you need more than 2,000 blue V followers — this threshold is twice as high as for ad sharing, indicating that X has higher quality requirements for this type of content.

**Third-Party Brand Deals — The Dark Horse of Flexible Monetization**

The above two are official channels of X. Third-party brand deals are another route — brands or MCNs directly approach you for collaboration. There are no official restrictions here; pricing depends entirely on your influence and the quality of your followers.

To be honest, the threshold of 5 million impressions is a bit out of reach for me haha, but this summary is still on point, especially the last point about sponsored content routes, which is my main focus right now.

5 million impressions? Bro, this threshold is just too outrageous. I can't even imagine how long it would take to reach it.
