A while ago, the stablecoin USD1 dropped to 0.9990, which indeed caused quite a few people to panic. In the past two days, it rebounded to 0.9997, but based on signs of large holders withdrawing early, the signal that the activity is ending is becoming increasingly clear.
The immediate problem is very realistic: there are only three days left until the event ends on January 24th. Should we take action now or continue holding and gamble on the new activity?
From a product design perspective, a 20% "wool" is mainly aimed at quickly attracting new users and expanding scale. Logically, there will likely be a new activity to seamlessly take over; otherwise, a sudden shrinkage of supply would have a huge impact on the overall stablecoin ecosystem. But the reality is that the next round of interest rates will definitely be lowered. This is a common industry pattern.
For different participation methods, the operational approach is actually quite clear:
**Lending arbitrage users**, safety first, it is recommended to reduce positions gradually and not wait until the last moment to leave hurriedly. When there is enough time, diversifying risk is always the safest choice.
**Holding spot assets to earn interest**, you can choose to bet on the announcement of the new activity. Once the official announces the relay activity, USD1 can immediately return to parity, and the returns at that time will be quite substantial.

All the big players have already left, so what's the point of gambling? I withdrew in batches.

Well, I'll choose to hold this time. Anyway, I've already burned the paper.

This round definitely needs to be run in batches. The big players are secretly withdrawing while I'm still betting on the new event. Do I have a brain problem?

Big players are all fleeing now. Still trying to buy the dip? Are you out of your mind?
It's better to just gradually sell off during the new betting activity, really.
This round will definitely drop, no need to say more.
I've already sold most of it; the rest is up to fate.
Can't even hold USD1 at 0.9995 anymore. What are you still thinking?

The big players are all fleeing. Those who still dare to gamble on this new event are truly brave warriors.
