Bitcoin, as the most resilient collateral worldwide, has paved the way for DeFi to build the most transparent financial infrastructure to date. However, in reality, the amount of Bitcoin flowing into the DeFi ecosystem is surprisingly small. This huge mismatch is not just a current situation but also hides a seriously underestimated growth gap. As the barriers to on-chain finance gradually lower and cross-chain bridging becomes more mature, the integration of BTC and DeFi is only a matter of time. Whoever seizes this wave will hold the key to the next round of wealth redistribution.

BTC really just sitting idle in DeFi; it's about time to get moving.

I think this idea is a bit optimistic; the day BTC truly enters DeFi is still a long way off.

To be honest, BTC in DeFi is like a neglected rich kid, with so much assets but reluctant to move them. Cross-chain technology is indeed improving now, but are there really that many people willing to collateralize BTC? The risks haven't been fully considered yet.

It sounds nice, but basically it just means they haven't sold enough yet. Is BTC flowing less into DeFi? That's because the big players are just watching the show, waiting for retail investors to enter.

Basically, it's just waiting for the moment when BTC enters DeFi.
