Plenty of folks out there pointing at historical valuation ratios, throwing revenue multiples around like they prove something. Low numbers on the chart, sure—but here's the thing: the market environment today is completely different. You can't just compare numbers across different eras and call it analysis. Context matters. Market conditions matter. The fundamentals moving these prices matter. Don't get caught chasing cheap valuations without understanding what's actually changed. Stay sharp.

Historical valuation comparison benchmark? To put it simply, it's like using yesterday's map to find today's way — this approach has long been outdated. The environment has changed, liquidity has changed, and on-chain data is telling new stories. Are you still fixated on PE charts? I backtested this logic yesterday and indeed found arbitrage opportunities, but the risk factor is ridiculously high... Anyway, I've already moved on.

ngl, the "compare spreadsheets across different market cycles" crowd is taxonomically doing it wrong. data suggests otherwise when you actually pull up the fundamentals—market structure's evolved, liquidity dynamics are completely different, per my analysis at least. people love cherry-picking charts from 2017 like it's still relevant lmao

These guys are just throwing out valuation multiples based on historical data, really not understanding what context means, do they?
