As the cryptocurrency asset market becomes increasingly complex, the collision between traditional finance and blockchain is intensifying. DeFi has indeed rolled out a set of strategies to facilitate free liquidity, but accompanying issues have also emerged—regulatory compliance is tightly constrained, and institutional-grade asset custody is virtually ineffective. In this context, Dusk Network is attempting to build a bridge with its own technological solution.

**Can privacy and auditing be achieved simultaneously?**

This is a long-standing contradiction. People love the transparency of blockchain, but when it comes to transaction records visible to everyone, institutional investors and high-net-worth clients become directly panicked—this is not transparency; it’s like pulling down your privacy underwear. Dusk uses zero-knowledge proofs to cleverly solve this "fish and bear's paw" problem. Simply put, it allows verification of the legality and compliance of transactions on-chain without revealing specific transaction details. This way, institutions can pass audits without worrying about competitors monitoring their transaction movements.

**Real assets on the chain, with a regulatory framework to keep up**

Another greater ambition of Dusk is to bring regulated financial products like bonds, stocks, and funds onto the blockchain. Through smart contracts for issuance and management, these assets can enjoy the liquidity benefits of blockchain while also meeting current regulatory requirements such as MiFID. In other words, it’s not about reckless growth but about innovating within a rule-based framework.

Zero-knowledge proofs have long been ready for use; it's indeed a bit late to start now.

Zero-knowledge proofs sound very appealing, but when it comes to production environments, could it be a different story? Institutional-grade custody has always been a hard problem. If Dusk can truly break through, that would be impressive. Privacy and auditing are conflicting issues; frankly, it's like wanting to have both meals. RWA on-chain under the MiFID framework? Sounds great, but I'm afraid it will still be tangled up by traditional finance later on. However, I have to admit that innovating within the rule framework is much smarter than pure reckless growth. On one side, zero-knowledge proofs; on the other, regulatory tug-of-war. How long can Dusk hold out in the middle?

Zero-knowledge proofs are indeed a clever trick, but can they really keep those big whales in check? It still feels like just theory on paper.

Zero-knowledge proofs sound advanced, but can they really reassure the big institutions? It still seems to depend on how regulators choose to approve.
