According to reports from Decrypt, the incident resulted in the unauthorized transfer and subsequent sale of 16 DeGods NFTs on the open market. The financial impact of the attack totaled approximately 108 SOL, equivalent to roughly $19,000 in value.

Frank attributed the breach to unauthorized access to his trading laptop, though he clarified that the compromise was isolated to a single wallet address. Notably, this security incident emerged just days following his announcement to step down from his position as the project's CEO, creating an unfortunate convergence of events for the DeGods founder.

Addressing concerns raised on social media platforms, Frank moved to dispel rumors suggesting he had actively liquidated NFT holdings.
