Stellar Community Fund announces upgrade and adjustment to optimize fund disbursement methods

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Stellar has announced an upgrade to the Community Fund, launching Stellar Community Fund v7.0, aimed at accelerating ecosystem growth and helping developers scale more quickly. The fund has been operating for six and a half years. This upgrade follows the successful SCF Pilot voting through Soroban Governor and is designed to meet the needs of a mature network and developers. SCF v7.0 will adjust and optimize the fund disbursement method to encourage execution, speed, and delivery, specifically as follows: 10% of the funds will be paid upon grant approval, 20% during the mid-term development milestone phase, 30% during the advanced product preparation stage (testnet), and 40% upon mainnet launch verification and user experience readiness.
