U.S. stocks open higher on Friday: Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 all rise

【BitPush】U.S. stocks opened broadly higher on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped at the open, rising 70.96 points, a 0.14% increase, to close at 49,513.4 points. Technology stocks performed even better — the Nasdaq Composite opened sharply higher by 103.71 points, a 0.44% increase, closing at 23,633.73 points. The S&P 500, a market barometer, also gained ground, rising 17.22 points, a 0.25% increase, to quote at 6,961.71 points.
