Abstract generation in progress

【Blockchain Rhythm】Hong Kong-listed company Delin Holdings announced that its subsidiary Delin Securities (Hong Kong) recently received conditional approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to provide virtual asset advisory services in January. This upgrade allows them to add virtual asset consulting permissions on top of their existing Type 4 license (Securities Advisory)—but with the restriction that they can only serve existing professional investor clients.

Furthermore, Delin Securities already holds a Type 1 license (Dealing in Securities), and the newly approved virtual asset advisory license forms a progressive relationship with it. According to the plan, after system integration and testing are completed, virtual asset trading services are expected to be officially launched in February.

From a strategic perspective, this move is quite interesting. Delin Holdings explicitly stated that this license upgrade is to support the group's layout in two directions: virtual assets and real-world asset tokenization (RWA). The concept of RWA has been a hot topic in industry discussions recently—tokenizing traditional assets via blockchain could be an important gateway for Web3 to connect with traditional finance. This move by Delin is essentially about securing a position in Hong Kong, an important financial hub, while also meeting regulatory requirements.

Hong Kong is playing another big game. The RWA piece is indeed tempting, but the ones who can truly benefit are still those professional investors.

Hong Kong is quietly making moves again, and Delin's move is quite interesting... RWA is really the next narrative, isn't it?

The compliance race in Hong Kong stocks is getting more intense, even brokerage firms are vying for a share of the crypto pie.
