My first contact with Dusk was because I wanted to tokenize the trust and bonds I held, aiming to improve liquidity and reduce transaction costs. Many so-called "compliant RWA" projects on the market sound impressive, but upon closer inspection, they don't hold up: compliance is just a slogan, the custody of assets is unclear, and once on-chain, all information is fully transparent, exposing commercial secrets. So I approached it with a trial mindset, starting with small amounts, using and observing simultaneously. The fact proved that Dusk gave me the first impression not as a marketing gimmick, but as "this thing really seems usable."

The first transaction I ran on Dusk was a simulated bond tokenization. The process was very intuitive: issuance, subscription, and transfer were completed through so-called confidential smart contracts. The entire transaction was recorded on the chain, but specific details like amounts, counterparty identities, and key contract terms were concealed, only visible to me and authorized auditors. Even more surprisingly, settlement was almost instantaneous, no longer the slow T+1 or T+2 process of traditional finance. At that moment, I realized two things: first, privacy protection isn't just hiding data, but achieving "on-demand verifiability" within a compliant framework; second, on-chain settlement efficiency can indeed compress traditional financial processes significantly. For someone like me who wants to protect business information while also wanting compliant on-chain operations, this experience directly dispelled many concerns.
