nah, this argument's as old as the cypherpunk manifesto tbh. we've seen this exact pitch before every bubble pop—2017, 2021, $LUNA... the pattern's unmistakable if you actually look at the charts. encryption's cool and all, but "it's that simple" is literally how mass delusion always starts lmao

Cryptocurrency is freedom, and there's nothing wrong with that. But the real issue is that most people don't actually want this kind of freedom; they prefer to be comfortably controlled.
