Building on Base means building for scale. But here's what matters: if you're not thinking about how users actually get onboard, you're missing the entire point.

The real game isn't complicated. Platforms handle the entry point—they're the ramp that brings people in. Once they're there, tokens become the engine that keeps them engaged. They're not just a tradable asset; they're the incentive layer that rewards participation and aligns interests across the ecosystem.

Too many projects get caught up in the technical side and forget the user experience. The question isn't what can you build, but who are you building it for—and more importantly, how will they discover it? That's where platform-layer thinking meets token mechanics. Get both right, and you've got something that actually scales.

No matter how fancy the mechanics of the ngl token are, someone has to use it. Right now, many projects fail because of this.

That's true, but very few projects can truly achieve it; most are just hyping up the technology.

empirically speaking, the user discovery piece is where most projects empirically fail. data from failed L2 launches suggests onboarding friction accounts for like 60-70% of churn rates, but nobody wants to hear that part apparently 🤓

Basically, don't mess around with technology blindly; you need to think about how ordinary people will use it, or else all the hype is pointless.

At the end of the day, user experience must come first. Too many projects focus solely on technical development, but no one uses the results.

That's right, on Base, a bunch of projects are just focused on being technically impressive, but their user experience is terrible, no wonder no one uses them.

NGL, you're so right. Most projects are just hyping up their tech stack and forget that users are the real boss.

Honestly, many projects are just a pile of technology, and user experience is directly compromised... This is the real reason why they can't expand.

You're right, the onboarding experience is the critical line between success and failure. I've seen too many technically impressive projects that no one uses, which is truly a waste.
