加密数字货币交易所-《论语》详解:给所有曲解孔子的人-子曰:十室之邑,必有忠信如丘者焉,不如丘之好学也。

Confucius said: In a city of ten households, there must be someone as loyal and trustworthy as I am, but they cannot match my love for learning.

Yang Bojun: Confucius said: “In a place of ten households, there must be someone as loyal and trustworthy as I am, but they cannot match my love for learning.”

Qian Mu: The teacher said: “In a small town of ten households, there must be someone with qualities like mine—loyal and trustworthy—but they cannot be as eager to learn as I am.”

Li Zehou: Confucius said: “In a small place of ten households, there must also be someone as faithful and reliable as I am, but they just don’t love learning as much as I do.”

Detailed explanation:

“室” (shì) means family or household; “邑” (yì) originally means “state” or “country”; “必” (bì) means “if” or “certainly”; “如” (rú) means “follow” or “comply with”; “丘” (qiū) refers to Confucius himself; “焉” (yān) indicates “here” or “in this”; “不如” (bù rú) means “not as good as” or “less than.” “Ten households city” (十室之邑) refers to a country composed of all families—people, families, and the state—cultivating oneself, managing family, governing the country, and then bringing peace to the world. “Ten” (十), according to “Shuowen Jiezi,” is a complete number, including east, west, south, north, center—implying vastness and encompassing everything.

“必有忠信如丘者焉” means “there must be someone as loyal and trustworthy as I am,” implying that in a “city of ten households,” there exists someone who adheres to my standards of “loyalty and trustworthiness”; “不如丘之好学也” means “but they cannot match my love for learning,” a condensed form of “there are people who love learning as I do, but they are fewer.” These two statements reveal Confucius’s attitude and deep concern: a nation cannot simply regard “loyalty and trustworthiness” as the only standards without valuing “love for learning.” Such a nation cannot truly follow the “Way of the Sage.” In reality, most countries in later times have only used “loyalty and trustworthiness” as standards—ranging from Hitler to Bush, from militarism to democracy—none of which fundamentally differ, ultimately leading to the deception of the people. Confucius’s understanding of “loyalty and trustworthiness” is based on “love for learning,” rooted in the wisdom to probe the depths of reality. Without “love for learning,” the standards of “loyalty and trustworthiness” are merely tools for fooling the people. Even if this so-called “loyalty and trustworthiness” is based on Confucian standards, without “love for learning” as a foundation, it will eventually degenerate, not to mention that the so-called “loyalty and trustworthiness” are just masks for various forms of fooling the people.

In the previous chapter, Confucius emphasized the three standards of “love for learning” from the perspective of “inner sagehood”; this chapter discusses the importance of “love for learning” from the perspective of “outer kingship.” Both inner sagehood and outer kingship depend on “love for learning,” which requires a desire-free attitude to satisfy oneself, and a non-attachment to the environment for stability. By verifying through current affairs, aligning theory and speech with reality, and probing the roots of the actual situation, one can realize the “Way of the Sage” in reality. Without “love for learning,” “loyalty and trustworthiness” become arbitrary rules, standards, or morals imposed from nowhere, indoctrinating the masses in a fooling manner—similar to Nazism, Bushido, or anti-terrorism—where “loyalty and trustworthiness” are emphasized. All these are used as drugs to create cannon fodder. Over two thousand years ago, Confucius already exposed the hypocrisy of all subsequent “loyalty and trustworthiness” dramas under the guise of the nation.

Chán Zhong’s plain translation:

Confucius said: In a city of ten households, there must be someone as loyal and trustworthy as I am, but they cannot match my love for learning.

Confucius said: In any country, if there are people who follow my standards of “loyalty and trustworthiness,” it is not as good as having those who follow my standard of “love for learning.”

Appendix:

The 5-minute retest formed by yesterday’s late trading and this morning’s early trading did not fall back into the original 30-minute central pivot at 2858, thus forming a perfect third type of buy point, with subsequent movements being very standard. The resistance at 2915 points was broken through at the end of the trading session, but confirmation is still needed. From a purely technical perspective, there is still a possibility of falling back into this 5-minute pivot, thereby expanding into a new 30-minute central pivot, so 2915 cannot be effectively broken below; otherwise, a new 30-minute pivot will form, making the trend more complex.

There is nothing much to say about individual stocks; it’s still sector rotation, with each sector not lasting long, so chasing highs is forbidden. One must buy at the right entry point. For retail investors, there’s no need to participate in sector adjustments. However, one should not be too short-term; for example, if the 5-minute trend is still upward, and a divergence appears on a 1-minute chart or below, then exit. Otherwise, large profits may be missed, so comprehensive judgment is necessary. This is a tough training process, requiring continuous trading to perfect technical skills.
