The recent airdrop market remains hot. In early January, two funding projects worth noting are ESIM (January 5th) and BREV (January 6th).

ESIM belongs to the DePIN sector, with a funding scale of $8 million. From a technical perspective, DePinSim has built a decentralized communication infrastructure network that enables cross-border communication and payments through encrypted native eSIMs. The project aims to do a few things: reshape encrypted identities using phone numbers with built-in wallet DID, allow users to earn data and airdrop rewards through a task system, and provide global roaming eSIM services leveraging the Telegram ecosystem and data marketplace.

BREV has raised $7.5 million, with a valuation of $80 million, and has close ties to domestic teams. As a zero-knowledge proof full-chain data platform, Brevis enables dApps to access and utilize data across multiple blockchains in a trustless manner. Application scenarios include data-driven DeFi, cross-chain bridging, on-chain user acquisition, zkDID, and social account abstraction.

But to be honest—don't put too much faith in the funding amount and valuation when looking at airdrops now. The market patterns are basically two: either dump after launch or pump first then dump. Most ultimately can't escape the dumping cycle; it’s a race to see who can run faster. Common scripts include taking a quick profit and selling immediately after getting tokens.

Another observation is that recently, repeatedly seeing LISA feels like a repeat of KOGE, ZKJ, and BR—pretty stable projects. But still, caution is advised. It seems LISA might be close to a harvest. Of course, I hope I’m overthinking it; having such a stable 4x coin is indeed rare.
BREV-1,52%
ZKJ-1,6%
BR6,17%

Just a lick and you're gone—this phrase is spot on. The current tactics are indeed that straightforward and blunt.

Honestly, these funding projects all sound good, but I still won't touch them. The story of ESIM with eSIM + DID is indeed innovative, but the inevitable fate of crashing after launch can't be avoided. Right now, participating in airdrops is all about speed and luck, so I choose to lie flat.

The funding amount numbers are all just hype; the key is how much they can pour in after going live. ESIM and BREV are indeed good, but they can't compete with the market's slaughtering logic. LISA is indeed a bit risky right now; it feels like it's approaching the harvest period.

The rhetoric about fundraising amounts is really tired; I've been over it for a long time. Launching a dump is the real norm. --- The idea of ESIM with DID+eSIM is good, but I always feel like it's just hype. Whether it can truly be implemented depends on the actual outcome. --- BREV's valuation is 80 million, with 7.5 million in funding. This ratio is considered reasonable; at least it's not ridiculously out of line. --- LISA is indeed stable now, but being too stable can be dangerous. I always feel that big players are quietly offloading. --- To put it simply, airdrops have only two outcomes: either they go to zero or get cut. The window of opportunity in between is as narrow as a needle's eye. --- One wave after another of DePIN concepts, everyone talks about decentralized communication's future, but why haven't we seen many real users yet? --- The fast ones have made money, the slow ones become bagholders. Sometimes, it's better not to participate at all.

The amount of funding really doesn't have much reference value; it's mainly about how much you invest after going live. ESIM and BREV are both good, but the old routine is still there, and no one can escape the dump.

The amount of funding doesn't really matter; what matters is who runs faster after going live. Lick and leave—that's the real way to go. LISA really needs to be careful; there's always a day for harvesting.

On-chain data shows that the contract deployment time of BREV is interesting. The funding valuation and actual locked tokens don't quite match. Based on past experience, this is a signal to pay attention to.

Zero-knowledge proofs indeed have arbitrage opportunities, but the valuation of BREV... feels like it's already been cleared out of the mempool. DePIN communication infrastructure sounds promising, but no matter how large the funding amount is, it can't stop the arrival of a dumping cycle. I'm also seeing the 4x for LISA, but it's really close to the harvest point, isn't it?
