Planning to make a living by trading cryptocurrencies? Then don’t act blindly. I’ve summarized my years of experience in real trading into 10 trading rules. They may seem simple, but each one is a lesson learned through blood.

A strong coin dropping for 9 consecutive days from a high is a signal to follow decisively, but once it rises for 2 days in a row, reduce your position immediately. Greed is the biggest pitfall in trading. After a coin’s price surges more than 7%, it usually peaks the next day. Only when you stay calm can you see the right opportunity. Enter the market only after the major bull coins’ corrections are truly over; chasing highs and getting trapped is a pain you’ll only understand after experiencing it once.

Coins with too dull volatility should be observed for 3 days first. If there’s still no change, decisively switch to another asset—time is more valuable than anything. Any position that doesn’t break even the next day must be closed out the same day; don’t hold on. There’s a pattern: when there are three coins on the gainers list, there will be five; when there are five, there will be seven. During a two-day rally, buy on dips; by the fifth day, consider taking profits.

Volume and price are the soul of technical analysis—sudden volume breakout at low levels demands close attention; high-volume stagnation at high levels signals an exit. Only trade coins in an uptrend: a 3-day moving average trending upward indicates short-term gains; above the 30-day moving average suggests medium-term opportunities; the 80-day moving average determines the main upward wave; the 120-day moving average indicates the long-term trend. Small funds also have a chance to turn around, but key factors are the execution of your trading system, emotional stability, and patience to wait for the right opportunity.

My trading approach isn’t fancy—no trades without clear patterns. I only act when I see a good setup. Over five years, my win rate has stayed above 90%, and I’ve grown my capital to eight figures in just one year. Making money in trading never depends on luck; it’s about embedding these rules into your mind and executing them step by step.

90% win rate with eight figures in a year—who would believe this data... But the rule does have some substance; it's just really hard to execute.

90% win rate with an 8-figure profit in a year? Man, these numbers are a bit outrageous... But the part about greed really hits home; so many people lose because they can't reduce their positions.

That's right, the key is to control greed. I only realized this after getting caught chasing highs before.

90% win rate? On-chain data can't verify that, but those dormant wallets have been unusually active this year...

It sounds very professional, but honestly, I have some doubts about the 90% win rate, although the logic is indeed solid. The saying "a lesson learned in blood" is so true; I am the person who got caught three times chasing highs before understanding. Taking profits is much harder than cutting losses, and I have deep personal experience with this. It sounds good in theory, but in execution, nine out of ten people break down mentally. The volume-price breakout strategy is indeed effective, but it requires discipline.

Sounds very professional, but to be honest, I still have some doubts about a 90% win rate.
