.@RaylsLabs is basically trying to make “bank-grade on-chain settlement” real, private by default, compliance-native, but still programmable.

DvP (delivery vs payment) is the core primitive here, cash and asset have to swap at the same time, or you get counterparty risk.

Here’s how Rayls Enygma does confidential DvP ⤵️

🔷 Phase 1, Setup + validation
➤ Bank A requests a trade with Bank B (ex: USDC for a tokenized security)
➤ Private network runs the compliance gate first

🔸 permissions check
🔸 limits check

➤ Regulator can see “A ↔ B initiated” but not trade details by default

🔷 Phase 2, Lock both legs
➤ Bank A locks the payment leg in escrow
➤ Bank B locks the asset leg in escrow
➤ Nothing transfers yet, both legs are secured
➤ Either both settle or both revert, no one can back out mid-way

🔷 Phase 3, Confidential execution
➤ Enygma executes the swap
➤ Balances update privately
➤ Validity proofs generated, amounts stay encrypted
➤ Network learns “valid + authorized + balances correct”, not the amounts

🔷 Phase 4, Atomic settlement + auditability
➤ Both transfers complete simultaneously
➤ Regulator/auditor sees completion + timestamp
➤ Selective disclosure is there if an audit actually needs details

Key insight, lock → prove → transfer, atomic settlement with privacy throughout.
