What happened to those NFT digital collectibles that once exploded in popularity?

Do you remember? At that time, NFT avatars suddenly became a symbol of identity, and overnight, everyone's profile pictures on social media were replaced with carefully curated digital artworks. Friends circles, Weibo, Discord—everywhere was filled with people excitedly announcing that they had just acquired a rare collectible.

But the hype was quick to rise and just as quick to fade.

What did that obsession with "must own one" eventually turn into? Most people's NFTs are like the gym memberships they bought back then—full of anticipation, stored in their wallets, but never opened again. When they remember, they realize that the high-priced collectibles they purchased have long since dropped to bargain prices, or they simply can't find a buyer anymore.
