What happened to those NFT digital collectibles that once exploded in popularity?

Do you remember? At that time, NFT avatars suddenly became a symbol of identity, and overnight, everyone's profile pictures on social media were replaced with carefully curated digital artworks. Friends circles, Weibo, Discord—everywhere was filled with people excitedly announcing that they had just acquired a rare collectible.

But the hype was quick to rise and just as quick to fade.

What did that obsession with "must own one" eventually turn into? Most people's NFTs are like the gym memberships they bought back then—full of anticipation, stored in their wallets, but never opened again. When they remember, they realize that the high-priced collectibles they purchased have long since dropped to bargain prices, or they simply can't find a buyer anymore.

Haha, I told you so. What happened to the people who were trading NFTs back then? They already deleted their wallets; out of sight, out of mind. Those who bought in are the ones who paid the harshest IQ tax.

Haha, it's the same topic again. I knew that group of people would definitely regret it back then. Those NFTs in your hand are really just trash now. Who still wants them? Basically, it's just a game of pass the parcel, and the last person to catch it loses everything. How boastful it was back then, and now it's just embarrassing. I never bought this stuff. Forget it, don't think about it. The money-losing assets should just gather dust in your wallet. I just want to ask, are there still people holding on to them? Really? It's just hype and speculation. Now that you've seen through it, right? By the way, have any of you been deeply involved? I heard some people lost so much they doubted their lives. Isn't this just a replay of the 2017 ICO? A recurring script. Don't worry, in a couple of years, there will be new scams to cut the leeks. History truly repeats itself.

The analogy of the annual fitness card is perfect. The NFTs in my wallet are now in this state; I’ve long forgotten what they are.

Haha, laughing to death. The crowd that rushed in back then are now all trapped holders, right?

Haha, I knew it. That wave of enthusiasm was completely a collective frenzy, and now it's become something in the abandoned palace.

Haha, it's the same old story. Buying it initially was like grabbing Maotai, and now it's become an antique.
