The holiday season is coming to an end, and the market will soon return to its rhythm. During this time, it's a good opportunity to ask yourself again—why are you still holding on?
Some want to change their fate for their families. Some want to provide a better life for their loved ones. Others are simply attracted by the possibilities of this industry—financial freedom, technological innovation, and wealth redistribution opportunities.
Once you clarify your original intention, the path becomes clearer. Whether it's DeFi yields, trading swings, or long-term holdings, everyone's game rules are different. But the common point is: knowing why you're here is more stable than blindly following the trend to make money.
A new beginning, a new understanding. Let's continue.

Wake up, everyone. No matter how clear your original intention is, it can't prevent a wave of decline...
---
Sounds nice, but the market doesn't care why you're here
---
Really? I feel like most people are just here to make money
---
Original intention? Ha, my current goal is just not to lose money haha
---
Let's resonate, knowing your own goal is indeed much better than random operations
---
New year, new atmosphere, and a new round of chopping leeks is coming
---
By the way, understanding why you're in this industry is still quite important
---
Financial freedom sounds great, but the road to it is a bit... dangerous

Honestly, staying true to your original intention is easier to say than to do. I think most people, like me, start out with a clear goal, but when the bear market hits, self-doubt begins haha.
It's really important to understand why you're here, or a single pullback can make you doubt everything.
New year, new atmosphere. Keep going.

Really, staying true to your original intention is easy to talk about but hard to do in practice.
There are still too many blindly following the trend, crying and blaming others when they lose money.
Understand why you're here, stop messing around, and you can really live a bit longer.

nah the "why are you still here" framing is technically speaking a bit naive... most people can't actually articulate their proof of conviction, they're just riding momentum tbh

Haha, really. Three years ago I was also asking myself this question, and now I’ve figured it out — just want to make money, everything else is nonsense.
What to hold on to? Mainly, I just don’t want to miss out, after all, historical cycles tell us there will always be a rebound.
初心? My original intention is to stop being a worker, it’s that simple.
When this wave of market rises, I’ll make money; if it falls, I’ll just consider it tuition. Anyway, in the long run, I’ll definitely get my investment back.
To be honest, the key is to stay calm; otherwise, watching K-line charts all day can lead to depression.
Happy New Year, everyone!
