2026 unfolds.

Before you open the next chart, ask yourself:

Will **that one change** you make this year truly shift your trading landscape?

It's not about "making more money"—that's just the outcome, the surface.

I'm talking about the deeper stuff: breaking a deeply ingrained trading habit, adjusting that old mindset, or completely reshaping your attitude towards volatility.

A genuine behavioral change often outweighs a hundred technical indicators.

What is your answer?

To be honest, after so many years of technical analysis, most of the people are still self-righteous. The ones who truly make a difference are those willing to admit that their mindset is garbage. My answer is just two words: stop loss. The old "hold-on logic" should have died long ago.

To be honest, you really need to get rid of the habit of chasing gains and selling in panic, otherwise all the indicators are useless. --- The key is mindset. No matter how advanced your skills are, without stability, it's all zero. --- The problem is... you know you need to change, but you just can't do it. What can you do? --- When volatility hits, you still panic. Changing behavior isn't that easy; it sounds simple when you say it. --- This year, I just want to figure out whether I really want to make money or just gamble. That's the fundamental issue. --- Stop being greedy. Really, just this one thing is enough.

My answer is to quit the habit of chasing highs. I'm serious this time. --- Honestly, my mindset is definitely a weakness. I always want to make quick money. --- It's the same old story. No matter how many technical indicators there are, they can't save a greedy soul. --- Breaking the itchy habit is more effective than learning ten new indicators. --- When I asked myself this question, I chose to remain silent... because I know the answer but can't change. --- Being able to stay calm during volatility is truly better than anything else, but I can't do it. --- Year after year, I set a flag. This year, just this one: stop overtrading.

That really hits home. The most daunting thing is this kind of probing opening. When it comes to mindset, it's truly the ceiling—more valuable than any technical indicator. It's easy to say but hard to do.

To be honest, I just want to improve one thing—loss cut execution. I know I should cut losses every day, but whenever I lose, I get soft-hearted, and end up doubling down and losing more. No more messing around like that this year.

Honestly, most people can't answer this at all... After seeing so many "New Year plans," in the end, it's still the same old mystical coin trading. Mindset is indeed a stubborn issue; changing it is the real start to making money. Nonsense, what can one change solve? It's still about taking multiple approaches. You're right, but the key is how many people can really stick to the change? I don't believe many can. It's a cliché, I've heard these words every year, but no one actually does it. This question is brilliant... I realize I haven't even thought clearly about what I want to change. Mindset is indeed more valuable than technical skills, but why is changing the mindset so difficult? Stop messing around, getting back to fundamentals is the true way.

Destroying the trading mindset is such a gut punch, I keep dying on the mental state... Every time I say I want to change, but I still stick to the old ways. --- No matter how many indicators there are, they can't save my greedy trading style. It's time to cut and let go. --- Good question, but to be honest... I haven't figured out what I want to change yet, maybe that's my problem. --- Behavior change > technical indicators. This sentence perfectly matches my loss record over the past two years. --- How to change the mindset... This is the most difficult part, even harder than finding the bottom. --- Repeatedly stepping into the pit alone indicates that it's either a technical issue or there's something wrong with your mind. --- The key is whether anyone can really do it... Most people will still continue.
