2026 trading evolution: ditching emotional attachment. I'm reshaping my approach this year—treating each position as a tactical entry rather than a long-term romance. No diamond hands mentality unless fundamentals justify it.

Rewind to late 2025. I caught the moonboy disease hard. Bags got heavy, conviction wavered, but I held anyway. Some moves worked out, sure. But here's the reality check: chasing pumps and refusing to trim winners kills risk management.

The shift? Cold, mechanical portfolio discipline. Position sizing matters more than belief. Entry and exit rules matter more than narrative. When a coin hits your target or thesis breaks, you move capital elsewhere. No ego in the game.

This mindset pivot separates sustainable traders from bagholders. It's not cynical—it's rational market participation.

It sounds nice, but when it comes to actually cutting losses, it's still various reasons for procrastination... I also thought this way in 2025, but in the end, I was still killed by my beliefs.

You're right, acting on emotions is really a dead end. I also stubbornly held on during that wave last year, and as a result, I was forced to hold onto trash for a long time. I should have cut my losses earlier.

NGL, this is the real truth. Last year's wave definitely trapped those who stubbornly held on, now is it still possible to wake up?

That's right, last year I was emotionally driven, holding onto trash coins and thinking I was very persistent. Only now do I realize that cutting losses is worth much more than dreams.

Well said, that's exactly the point. Last year's wave indeed brainwashed us with the narrative. Watching the prices drop painfully but still reluctant to cut losses. Mechanical discipline sounds cold, but the people who truly make money all operate this way.

That's right. The moonboy market last year indeed turned a lot of people into permanent contractors... Relying solely on faith and stories can't withstand the market; you need to enforce discipline with real actions.

Well said. The lesson learned from being trapped last year is indeed profound, but how many can truly implement mechanical stop-loss? Most are still being led by narratives.
