Yesterday, a buddy of mine complained to me, saying he chased a certain altcoin for three months, from 0.3 to 0.8, getting higher and higher. He finally went all in at 1.2, but today it dropped back to 0.4. I just laughed after hearing that, thinking of catching chickens back in my hometown when I was a kid — the more you chase, the more it runs away, but if you squat down and scatter some rice, it comes right over.

The crypto world is actually the same. The more you FOMO chasing the pump, the happier the main players are, because what they want is your enthusiasm to buy in. Those who truly make money understand one thing: good projects don’t need to be chased. If you manage your positions well and do solid research, opportunities will come to you naturally. As the saying goes, coins you can buy with money don’t need to be about faith; the coins worth believing in are the ones you should be willing to hold onto.

Whether you can spot opportunities depends on your skill; whether you’re willing to hold depends on whether the project is worth it. Too many people research for three days and nights when buying, and panic when it rises 20%, fearing profits will slip away. Bro, if you can’t hold a 20% fluctuation, what makes you think you can dream of ten or a hundred times?

So, stop chasing. Sharpen your understanding, stabilize your mindset, because the market never lacks opportunities — what’s missing is you who deserves those opportunities.

Next time you see a coin take off, ask yourself first: am I the one scattering rice waiting for the chicken, or the fool running around chasing chickens until I’m exhausted?
