I have an idea, but I don't know if anyone is working on it now—can we design a video encoding standard that embeds invisible QR codes into video files? The key is that these codes must be discreet enough to be invisible during normal playback, but once a screenshot or screen recording is taken, machines can recognize them.

In this way, we can collaborate with mainstream social platforms. As long as platforms with advertising revenue sharing adopt this standard, we can trace unauthorized reposts and screenshots from the source. Creators' earnings can also be more transparently directed to the original content creators.

It sounds a bit like an ultimate solution for copyright protection, but the specifics of how to implement it and how platforms can be incentivized to adopt it still need thorough discussion.

This idea sounds very sexy but in reality, it just doesn't work at all... Why would the platform want to cut its own traffic? Honestly, it's overthinking. The real issue isn't technical; it's that no one wants to break the利益分配 (profit distribution). People have thought about this before, like watermarking and anti-crawling measures... but they all eventually failed. However, if it could really be implemented, it would benefit creators. But... who will pay the bill? Platforms won't proactively provide this feature; it's a suicidal approach. It seems that on-chain tracking is more reliable. The core problem lies with centralized platforms themselves.

This idea sounds good but the execution seems extremely difficult, the platform probably doesn't want to get involved. By the way, isn't this just another way of saying digital watermarking? Someone has been researching this for a long time. The real issue is, what makes the platform cooperate? They rely on traffic to make a living, after all. Hmm... but if we can truly track reposts, it could genuinely protect small creators. I agree with that. In my opinion, instead of embedding QR codes, it's better to do on-chain proof, which is more transparent. It feels like another perfect-sounding plan that ends up being played out by platforms and capital. What about screenshot recognition? Can it really achieve 100% accuracy? That's a bit far-fetched.

This idea sounds a bit like a pipe dream; the concept of invisible codes isn't that simple. Oh my, isn't this just an advanced form of watermarking? Easy to talk about, but hard to implement. The platform would never intentionally block its own traffic, you're overthinking it. Bro, are you trying to do charity for creators? Haha. The standardization stage alone could kill the project; don't even think about it.

It sounds quite idealistic, but why would the platform spend its own money to develop this system? The interests are not aligned.

This idea is a bit far-fetched, but will the platform really cooperate? It just feels like wishful thinking.

This idea sounds good, but will the platform really cooperate? It feels like it will get stuck on profit sharing. Hmm... The thing about invisible codes is easy to talk about, but there are definitely many people who can crack them. It's hard to prevent. Honestly, instead of making it so complicated, it's better for the platform to directly share the revenue with creators. Wait, isn't this just some DRM solution? People have thought about it for a long time, but no one has used it. I'm actually more worried about this being abused, like a monitoring tool. But if the revenue sharing can truly be transparent, creators will definitely support it.
