I'm getting a $170,000 silver coin collection from my step dad eventually. Instead of holding it outright, I decided to run a hedge—went 20x short on silver through Hyperliquid.
The math worked out pretty well so far. Already sitting on $23k in gains. What's interesting is the delta-neutral setup I put together; it's actually generating some passive cash flow on top of that—pulled in around $60 already just from the structure.
It's not the most conventional inheritance strategy, but leveraging derivatives to offset physical asset concentration does make sense when you think about diversification and managing exposure. The short position acts as a natural hedge against my incoming bullion holdings.

Shorting silver by 20x? Bro, your approach is pretty aggressive. Daring to operate this way with inherited assets...

Huh? Using 20x leverage short positions to hedge spot? Your move is a bit crazy.

Damn, this move is really ruthless... Short hedging against the spot, just waiting to profit from the appreciation of that inheritance, while still grazing on passive income from the yield farming. Let me ponder this logic a bit.

Haha, playing with 20x leverage on Hyperliquid? That's a bit heavy on the daddy vibes.
