Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has awarded BAE Systems an $11 million contract to integrate cutting-edge Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) capabilities into the KF-21 Boramae fifth-generation fighter aircraft. The integration centers on the AN/APX-127(V)1 Combined Interrogator Transponder (CIT), a system designed to provide pilots with superior situational awareness in complex combat environments.
