I recently discovered that Ctrip's overseas business now supports using stablecoins to directly book tickets and hotels. Stablecoins like USDT and USDC can be used for direct payment, eliminating the traditional process of card swapping and currency exchange. This should be considered another case of crypto payments being implemented.
Think about it, in the past, traveling abroad required international cards or exchanging dollars. Now, users holding stablecoins can transact directly, which is indeed much more convenient. Especially for those who travel abroad frequently or already hold stablecoin assets, it reduces many intermediate steps.
It would be even better if domestic travel platforms could follow this trend. After all, the convenience of stablecoins can truly be demonstrated in cross-border payment scenarios.

Ctrip's move this time, I have to say, is quite impressive. I finally don't have to mess around with the exchange rate system anymore; just go directly with USDT, and it's comfortable.

Ctrip's move this time is quite bold, but to be honest, I guess only a few people are using it. Most people don't even have a stablecoin wallet.

Ctrip's move is quite good, but I just want to ask, are there really many people using stablecoins for international travel on a large scale?
---
Another "cryptocurrency payment implementation," it looks great but how is the actual user volume?
---
Stablecoin payments are indeed convenient, but I'm worried that platform risk control might complicate things.
---
Compared to currency exchange, I'm more concerned about whether stablecoins can really be used domestically.
---
Haha, finally a big company has started to play, it should have been done this way long ago.
---
It sounds good, but how does it pass domestic compliance?
---
There aren't many people holding stablecoins to begin with, so this feature is still a pseudo-demand for most people.
---
It really saves trouble, but no one around me has actually tried it.

This move by Ctrip is really impressive, saving the hassle of currency exchange. Sweeping the final order directly with USDT is really satisfying.

Ctrip's move is really awesome. Finally, a major platform dares to take the plunge. The era of stablecoin payments has truly arrived.
It should have been like this earlier. The currency exchange process was too complicated. Paying directly with USDT is much more comfortable.
What are other domestic platforms doing? Such a simple task, why haven't they caught up yet?
Wait, is this real? Why haven't I seen this feature?
The path for stablecoin payments has been paved. Now, it's up to who can scale it up.
Although it's convenient, it still depends on the exchange rate. Using fiat currency directly might be even better.
This is the real implementation of Web3 applications, much more practical than NFTs.
Why is it only being launched now? If it had come out a couple of years earlier, I could have saved a lot when traveling abroad.

Wait, won't the gas fees for USDC eat up most of the advantages?
---
Finally, a major platform dares to take the plunge, a blessing for outbound travelers.
---
This is why I've been holding stablecoins all along; practical use cases are increasing.
---
When will domestic platforms catch up? They should stop just collecting fees while lying around.
---
It sounds convenient, but isn't it just to steal Web3 users? But I don't oppose it.
---
I'm a bit curious how Ctrip manages to stay compliant; can it pass in China?
---
It should have been like this a long time ago, much cheaper than Visa.
