Whenever I want more people to understand the long-term advantages of the PTCG (Pokémon Trading Card Game) market, I deliberately compare it to NFTs. Of course, to clarify—NFTs have been market-validated as a failed product form. But because they failed, they have greater comparative value. The reason I use NFTs as an introduction is not to say that Pokémon is like NFTs, but quite the opposite: Pokémon is an NFT.
