In anticipation of the potential threat of quantum computers to blockchain security in the future, Solana and Aptos have begun preparing to protect their networks.
Solana has partnered with security firm Project Eleven to deploy a testnet using quantum-resistant signatures to test secure transactions without affecting the network.
Aptos has proposed adding an optional quantum-resistant signature for users who require higher security, while maintaining the current system.
Although quantum computers are still far from being powerful enough to break blockchain, major blockchains are proactively preparing early to avoid being caught off guard later.#Gate2025AnnualReportComing #JapanToRaiseInterestRatesInMid-to-lateDecember $BTC $ETH
