December 8th, I really couldn't hold on any longer.

Alpha staking rewards were slashed from 500,000 directly down to 240,000. This shrinkage forced me to adjust my strategy—reducing my tier from 66,000 to 33,000, and preparing to enter hibernation mode to tough it out slowly.

I dug up a screenshot from October 26th. Back then, I could get 2 airdrops a day. Thinking about it now, it feels like a past life. Time in the crypto world just moves ridiculously fast—a day here is like a year outside.

The initial excitement has faded, leaving only a mess behind. Where will Alpha go from here? To be honest, I have no idea. I can only take it one step at a time.

I've seen plenty of things get cut in half, but having 500,000 slashed straight down by half is still something I just have to swallow... Whatever, downgrading to 33,000 is just buying myself some peace of mind. After all, I've long gotten used to watching the numbers shrink when checking the gas tracker late at night, haha.
