AI-powered glasses can literally turn anyone's face into a walking data leak. Every glance, every scan—your biometric info gets harvested in real time. Creepy? Absolutely.

But here's the thing: we don't have to outlaw the tech. We just need to rewrite how the game is played. Enter Fully Homomorphic Encryption, or FHE for short. This isn't your average encryption. With FHE, your data gets processed, compared, even recognized—all without ever being decrypted. Zero exposure. Your face stays yours, encrypted end-to-end, while the system still does its job.

Think of it like this: the computation happens on locked data. The algorithm never sees the raw info, yet it still delivers results. It's privacy-first computing at its finest. So while AI glasses might feel like a privacy nightmare, the real power move? Leveraging cryptographic innovations that let us use the tech without surrendering our identity. FHE isn't just a defense—it's a paradigm shift.

In other words, FHE does sound amazing, but the products that can really use this set of things have to wait until the Year of the Monkey and the Month of the Horse...

FHE sounds good, but can it really protect privacy in front of big companies? I have my doubts.

actually, the computational overhead of FHE scales exponentially with data complexity—your "zero exposure" premise ignores latency tradeoffs that make real-time processing statistically improbable. but sure, keep selling the dream.

FHE sounds pretty good, but how many people can actually use it in practice? Will big companies really be willing to give up their data?
