Recent weeks have seen something unusual: a wave of dormant wallets from Bitcoin's earliest days—we're talking 2009-2010 vintage—suddenly springing back to life. Coins that haven't moved in over a decade are now being transferred.

So what's behind this? One theory gaining traction: quantum computing anxiety. The cryptographic signatures protecting these ancient addresses might be vulnerable to quantum attacks in ways newer wallet formats aren't. Could holders be rushing to move funds before quantum computers become a real threat?

Or is it simply old-school miners finally cashing out after 15 years of patience? The timing feels deliberate though. With quantum computing breakthroughs making headlines lately, the correlation is hard to ignore.

What do you think is really driving these Satoshi-era wallet activations?

The talk about quantum panic sounds a bit overinterpreted, but the fact that old miners are finally selling after 15 years... that's really hard to stay calm about.

The whole talk about quantum computing sounds pretty intimidating, but I think it's just that some miners finally couldn't resist cashing out.

Quantum anxiety is back again. I don't believe you at all... Maybe the early miners just wanted to cash out. It's been more than ten years; it's about time for them to make a move.

NGL, this whole "quantum anxiety" thing sounds like panic marketing. But old miners making a move at this time is really brilliant. Holding on for over a decade and now cashing out all at once—there’s nothing wrong with that logic.

This talk about quantum anxiety is too absolute—if that were the case, those old miners should have dumped their coins a long time ago.

Is the quantum panic really coming, or is it just hype? The veteran miners are getting restless, haha.

Whether it's quantum panic or simply a desire to cash out, it's hard to say, but this move is truly remarkable.
