In the past two years, the term "quantum communication" has been everywhere, but if you look closely, you'll notice—a new consensus is already forming within the industry.
Satellite-level secure communication is no longer some “black technology” concept. It’s becoming a standard component of digital infrastructure. Just like how cloud storage once seemed cutting-edge—now, who’s still surprised by it?
Interestingly, some teams are now taking the approach of “starting with satellite QKD, then gradually transitioning to entanglement networks.” This strategy actually hits the mark. Look at the EuroQCI project in Europe—it’s going full steam ahead, and countries are laying out their own quantum key distribution networks.
When it comes to technical roadmaps, sometimes it’s not about who’s the most aggressive, but about who can maintain the right pace and seize the timing window.

Using satellite QKD as a foundation before transitioning to an entanglement network is indeed a bold strategy. It all comes down to who has the patience to take it slow.

Haha, quantum communication really is everywhere now, but there are very few who can actually make it into real infrastructure.
EuroQCI is indeed making moves, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to who can survive until the final step—you can't rush things.
It's easy to talk about maintaining the right pace, but how many teams can truly seize the perfect timing...

Oh no, it's another arbitrage window opened by an infrastructure upgrade—I've seen this cycle so many times before.
From hyped-up black tech to standard components, the transition is so fast—in plain terms, some people are just cashing in on the profit margins during the bonus period. Europe is laying out networks, and we have to keep up here too, otherwise we'll just end up getting fleeced.
Keeping your pace and timing the window? Buddy, that's like me insisting not to short Ethereum in 2015—sounds right, but actually doing it can be killer.

Satellite QKD is indeed quickly moving from concept to practical application, and the EuroQCI project in Europe is progressing at a solid pace. But to be honest, the key is who can maintain the right balance.
