#比特币对比代币化黄金 Greed is the most expensive tuition in the crypto world.

It's not that most people can't cut their losses; it's that they're always thinking "just wait a bit longer"—wait to break even, wait for a rebound, wait for that last pump they believe in. What happens then? Losses snowball, getting bigger and bigger. In the end, they get liquidated and still blame the market for not giving them a chance.

To be honest, the market is never afraid of fools; it fears those who are foolish and refuse to admit their mistakes.

I was the same way in my early years—staying up all night staring at the charts, chasing pumps and dumps nonstop, and my account was as green as a field of leeks. Later, I forced myself to stick to the simplest rule: if there’s no signal, don’t make a move. Missing out is better than opening random trades.

By holding back, I gradually survived, and eventually started making steady profits.

Now, here are some lessons I’ve learned from real trading that I want to share with you:

**Only take action after 9 PM**
During the day, rumors are everywhere and it’s hard to tell what’s real. The market moves like a roller coaster. I make it a habit to check the charts after 9 PM, when there’s less noise and the price action is clearer.

**Let indicators guide you, not gut feelings**
Install TradingView on your phone and check three things before entering a trade:
- Is there a crossover signal on the MACD?
- Has the RSI reached an extreme level?
- Is there any unusual movement on the Bollinger Bands?
Only consider entering if at least two indicators light up green together.

**Adjust your stop loss dynamically**
If you can watch the screen, move your stop loss up as you profit—for example, if you bought at 3000 and it rises to 3100, set your stop loss to 3050 to lock in gains. If you can’t be at your screen, always set a hard stop loss of 3% in advance to avoid losing everything in a sudden dump.

**How you read candlesticks matters**
For short-term trades, watch the 1-hour chart; if there are two consecutive green candles, consider going long. If the market is sideways, switch to the 4-hour chart to find support levels and only take action if it drops to a key area.

**One last lifesaving tip**
Avoid those hyped-up, flashy-named small coins. Mainstream coins like $BTC, $ETH, and $BNB may not be as exciting, but at least they won’t go to zero overnight.

Controlling your greed is more useful than learning ten different indicators.
BTC0.05%
ETH0.51%
BNB0.96%

Here we go again, it sounds nice but very few people can actually hold back. I'm a perfect example of what not to do, haha.

Honestly, cutting losses is easier said than done. I'm the type of person who keeps saying "let's wait a bit longer" and ends up getting numb from all the losses.

This refusal to admit mistakes really hits home. I’ve seen too many project teams with the same problem—messy permission controls in contracts, audit reports pointing out reentrancy vulnerabilities but they just shift the blame to users, and then one botched contract upgrade wipes out everything. Greed truly is the most expensive tuition, whether in trading or reviewing code.
