AI training can go off the rails with dirty data, and DeFi is even more likely to get liquidated if it relies on unreliable price feeds—both of these sectors are actually stuck at the data bottleneck. Have you ever wondered where on-chain price fluctuations and trading signals actually come from? That's exactly what the oracle middle layer is for. Now, some projects are starting to focus on cleaning and verifying data sources, essentially overseeing the entire process from collection and aggregation to on-chain submission. After all, garbage in, garbage out; whether it's AI models going off track or DeFi protocols having bugs, if you trace it back, it's most likely due to poor data quality. If this foundational infrastructure can truly be solidified, it would indeed provide significant support for the stability of the entire ecosystem.

Oracles are indeed the Achilles' heel of the entire ecosystem—a single data source failure can bring down half the network.

If the data source is not clean, even the best algorithm can't save it. I agree with this logic.

nah actually if you read the oracle contracts most of these "data validation" projects are just adding another layer of centralization. watched three liquidations cascade last week because someone's "verified" price feed lagged by two blocks lmao

Bro, I’ve really seen price feeds mess up before... That time I got liquidated instantly, still feel exhausted just thinking about it. But honestly, if oracles can really be done right, we retail investors won’t get rekt as much. Still got some faith left.

garbage in, garbage out—been saying this since the chainlink wars. oracle infrastructure isn't sexy but it's the bedrock. if your validator set can't defend data integrity, everything else is just rpg fantasy anyway.

Data quality is really a bottleneck—so many projects have failed because of it.
