You encounter quite a lot of interesting things at offline events.

Some people don’t have many followers on their own accounts and act all indifferent when you meet them. But as soon as you show your Twitter follower count, their attitude does a complete 180—who’s to blame for this habit of "treating people based on their status"?

Honestly, in this circle, no one should underestimate anyone else. Those who shout about disruption and revolution every day—if they keep at it, they might actually pull it off one day.

For us KOLs who run around attending conferences and events, is it easy? It might look glamorous on the surface, but behind the scenes, we’re just media freelancers trying to make a living.

Uh... I'm just saying, who even looks at follower counts these days? It's really ridiculous.

People in this circle really rely on follower count to make a living. Seriously, I’ve seen too many people like this—way too realistic. It’s getting cheaper and cheaper to fake it, but when things go wrong, it happens even faster. To be honest, being a KOL is just working for traffic. No one should laugh at anyone else. I truly respect those who quietly get things done—no hype, no bashing, and they actually deliver. These days, the ones who know how to fake it can beat those with real skills. I’m speechless.

I think this is just human nature. Everyone understands when numbers speak. Really, I've seen too much of this. If you have a lot of followers, you're the boss. If you don't, you're nothing. It's ridiculous. You're right, there are hidden talents in this space, don't look down on people blindly. KOLs working like regular employees really can't keep it up, having to hustle every day is exhausting.

Unbelievable, the way this person changes their attitude depending on who they’re dealing with—they totally deserve to be slapped in the face.

Those who size people up before deciding how to treat them are really something. I've encountered them too.
