The whole point was making verification accessible to everyone, not letting some exclusive group with their own agenda gatekeep the process. That's what decentralization is about—distributing power instead of concentrating it in the hands of a few who decide what's valid and what's not.

Well said, but reality is always so harsh... Those big influencers and institutions have already formed alliances behind the scenes.

nah, this reads like idealism before you've actually run validators through a full market cycle. accessibility ≠ security, and that's where most folks get blindsided. seen too many networks hemorrhage stake because they prioritized "everyone can verify" over consensus finality. gatekeeping exists for a reason when slashing risk is on the line tbh

Another “everyone is equal” fantasy. Sounds nice, but what’s the result? In the end, decentralized power still flows to those with resources—the same story repeats throughout history. Decentralization sounds sexy, but the market will teach you what reality really means.

Well said, really, that's the true meaning of decentralization. Otherwise, what's the difference from the current centralized systems? Isn't it still decided by a small group of people?

Well said, but why is it so difficult in reality?
