Making money in the crypto market isn’t as mysterious as people think—the key comes down to two words: don’t be greedy.

I’ve been grinding in this industry for eight years, and the pace of my wealth accumulation went like this: $CVC

The first 10 million took a year and a half to save up;

The second? 30 days;

The third? 40 days;

The fourth was even crazier, done in 5 days.

You read that right—75% of my gains exploded within half a year. What did I rely on? Two things: system + self-discipline.

Can you really turn your life around with leverage trading? Forget it. Of all the friends I’ve seen playing with leverage, not a single one could consistently profit over the long term. Sure, you might make a little in the short term, but over time, it’s just a black hole. To put it bluntly, it’s gambling. $ZEC

The ones really getting rich from leverage are those running groups and taking fees from followers—not people like you and me actually placing trades on the front lines.

If you’re thinking you can use leverage to win back your losses, wake up: you’re not that one-in-a-million chosen one. The more you chase breaking even, the deeper you’ll sink—it’s a death spiral no leverage trader can escape.

What if you’re stuck holding spot bags? As long as the losses aren’t too crazy, you can still recover. The core is three things: able to sell, able to hold, and don’t act recklessly.

During a bull run’s main wave, everyone can make money, so why do some still end up with heavy losses? It’s because they get chopped up going in and out repeatedly at the top.

Retail investors who actually pocket profits only do one thing: decisively sell everything at the top, then stay out and just watch—no matter what bullish news comes up, they never look back. Fewer than 5% can do this, but those 5% take away most of the money in the market. $BOB

To sum it up: knowing how to buy is just entry-level. The ones who really achieve financial freedom in crypto are those who know when to stay out and strictly stick to their discipline.

Staying on the sidelines really does make sense, but knowing it and actually doing it are separated by two liquidations.

Staying on the sidelines really is a skill, but I just can't do it. Every time I clear my positions, I get itchy hands.

That's right, it's greed that hurts people. I've seen too many people get liquidated in contracts and try to recover their losses, only to fall deeper and deeper. Closing all positions and staying out really is a skill, but very few people can actually do it. Getting out at the top is the hardest moment—you need nerves of steel. Contracts are just tools to harvest retail investors. Retail traders should stay away, man. Building a system and self-discipline is spot on—that's the real moat. Feels like all of this is learned through painful lessons. You have to lose a lot on your account to truly understand.

Absolutely right, contracts really are a trap. I’ve seen too many people lose everything there. The worst part is when you can’t sell; that 5% are really ruthless. The words “system” and “self-discipline” sound simple, but they’re really the hardest to put into practice. I haven’t reached the level where I can just stay on the sidelines with no position—I always get itchy hands. Clearing out at the top really is an art; any so-called good news is just a trap. It only counts when it’s in your pocket, everything else is nonsense. The logic this time is solid, it just depends on who can really resist temptation. Not being greedy—easy to say, but once the market moves, everyone forgets.
