Sigh, I don't want to speak out just for the sake of traffic.
I've been donating to charity for two years now. Every month for the past two years, I’ve funded at least two fixed projects: orphans and charity lunches ( milk ). When there are major disasters, I also try to do what little I can, but honestly, the amount I donate isn’t much.
I just treat charity as a way of life. I’m not some great philanthropist, but everyone has compassion. I feel sad for those orphans who have no support from birth, and for the kids in mountainous areas who, despite compulsory education, don’t get free meals. Poor nutrition leads to stunted growth, and there are still many places like this. I can’t bear it. All I can do is trade well, make my own money, and help a few children I’ve never met, that’s all. I really can’t handle hardship or go to remote areas to help in person, so donating is the only way for me. Over these two years, I’ve donated a total of 160,000, which is nothing compared to what some KOLs can give in a single donation—I feel a bit embarrassed.
Especially after losing more than 16 million in November, I still haven’t fully recovered. But when I learned about this matter, I made a donation on 11.27 based on my own feelings. If it weren’t for the fake donation incident on 12.02, I actually wouldn’t have posted about it at all.
Charity donations aren’t about showing off. If people still have compassion and the means to help, it doesn’t matter if you donate 200 or 2 million—both deserve the same praise. I hope that the next viral incident will be something positive and meaningful done by a KOL from the crypto community. I’m really looking forward to it.
