Gemini’s in-app usage time also doubled to 11 minutes per day, while ChatGPT’s usage time increased by only 6%. ChatGPT’s global share of monthly active users dropped by 3 percentage points over four months, while competitors such as Perplexity and Claude achieved triple-digit growth.
