Speaking of trading perpetuals on-chain, I basically use a certain decentralized derivatives platform now. After using it, I feel pretty good about the experience—at least I don’t have to worry about the shenanigans you see with centralized platforms. The liquidity is sufficient, and slippage is fairly well controlled.

Is the liquidity of decentralized derivatives really sufficient? I think we still need to look at the actual data instead of just relying on intuition.

Decentralized derivatives are indeed worry-free, but when it comes to liquidity, it still depends on the token. With less popular tokens, slippage can really make you want to cough up blood.

Decentralized perpetuals are indeed great, saving a lot of mental stress. The only worry is that one day the money in the contract might suddenly disappear, haha.

dex perps honestly saved me from another catastrophic margin call ngl... back in my mining days i would've liquidated my whole rig by now lmao. liquidity's decent but ngl slippage still makes me wince every trade, gas fees r eating profits tho fr fr
