Recently, I saw something about a donation, and the comment section was in chaos.

Some people say it’s a real donation, others say it’s fake. I read through it for a long time and still couldn’t figure out what’s really going on—there are all kinds of opinions. What’s even more ridiculous is that quite a few people are just outright claiming it’s all for show, which left me even more confused.

That being said, there should be public records in Hong Kong, right? Is there anyone knowledgeable who can look it up? Logically, this kind of thing should be verifiable, since donation records aren’t something you can just fake.

It feels like there are just too many of these ambiguous things in the Web3 space now. Every time something happens, the community has to dig into it themselves. Sometimes the information asymmetry leaves everyone just guessing, and you don’t even know who to believe.

If you ask me, transparency really needs to be improved. Whether it’s a project team or an individual, if you did something, you did it—if you didn’t, you didn’t. Don’t make things so mysterious.

Records of Hong Kong charitable organizations can indeed be verified, but the problem is that most people are too lazy to check. They just like to follow the crowd and take sides, and that's what really hurts.

I don't really understand much about Hong Kong's public records either, but it feels like it's become normal these days for it to be hard to tell if donations are real or fake. That's just how Web3 is—information wars are intense, and the grassroots community gets played for fools every day. Honestly, we still need on-chain verification. On-chain data can't fool people. These days, nobody believes just screenshots or word of mouth anymore. This space really needs transparency, or else every time it just feels like we're all opening a collective blind box. As for checking records, we can play detective ourselves. As long as you're determined, you can always dig something up.

Seriously, if this industry keeps being so opaque, who would still dare to trust it? Verifying this kind of thing is probably harder than finding a needle in a haystack. Here comes another wave of hard-to-tell-what’s-real-or-fake, isn’t it exhausting? The Hong Kong records should have been made public long ago, stop hiding them. We can see right through the showboating, don’t assume everyone’s a fool.

It's ridiculous that Hong Kong records can't be found. Why not just put them on-chain? Why make it so mysterious? --- To be honest, this is just how the Web3 circle operates. It's so hard to tell what's real and what's fake—we have to dig everything up ourselves. --- Here we go again. Doing charity has to be as secretive as a spy case? Just verify it directly! --- Experts, please step up. We need to figure out if this is real or fake. Don't make me guess blindly. --- Transparency? In this space, that's just wishful thinking. Every time, the community has to reverse-engineer everything.

Information asymmetry is just like that; on-chain data speaks for itself. Stop guessing blindly—just check the on-chain records. Why argue about something so simple?

Seriously, there are way too many tricks in Web3, and every time we have to rely on the community for counter-surveillance. Honestly, the on-chain data is right there—why make things so complicated? It's hard to check public records in Hong Kong—I want to see them too. Anyway, once things get convoluted like this, no one believes it anymore. It would be better to be transparent from the start. Why does something as simple as donations now require endless debate? Ridiculous. For those who know what's going on, come out and investigate instead of just complaining in the group. At the end of the day, it's just an information gap. They've already figured out how to fool people. Transparency +, otherwise I simply don't believe any of this.
