#数字货币市场洞察 Once met a hardcore trader: a major platform’s live account, turned $50,000 into $100 million in 18 months. That’s a 2,000x return.

After talking to this top trader, he just left me with one sentence:
“You think you did a lot of things right? Actually, you only did one thing right—survived.”

After hearing too many liquidation stories, I realized that those who really make money always go against their instincts. To keep it simple, here are three strategies he kept emphasizing:

**Maximum position size per trade: 2%**
No matter how good the opportunity looks, cap it.
The moment you feel most confident is often the riskiest. Remember—the prerequisite for consistent profits is keeping your account alive.

**Set your stop-loss in advance**
Before opening a position, know exactly: what’s the maximum loss you’ll tolerate? If the price hits that, cut it immediately. Even one second of hesitation is just giving money to the market.

**Floating profit over 50%? Take some off the table**
If you’re up more than 50%, at least pull out your principal.
Use a trailing stop for the rest—let your profits run, but don’t let your winnings slip away.

Simply put, trading isn’t about who makes money fastest, but who can survive until the last bull market.

Just staying alive is winning; that really hits home. I've seen too many people go all-in, betting everything, and in the end, they lost even their principal.

Being alive is already a win; this saying is spot on. So many people lose everything at the moment they get greedy.

Just staying alive is winning, that saying is spot on... But the person who made 2000x returns must be one in a thousand. I just want to ask, how many people can actually stick to a 2% position size?

Just staying alive is winning—this saying is spot on. I've seen too many all-in retail investors who disappear from the crypto space after a single market correction.

Surviving is winning, I believe that. I've seen too many stories of people blowing up because of greed. --- The 2% position rule is really tough, it's a true test of human nature. It's hardest to stick to it when things are soaring. --- Being decisive with stop-losses is right. The market won't wait for you just because you're hesitating—wasting time is wasting money. --- Only those who can hold on till the end are winners—engrave this into your mind. --- Taking profits and securing your gains makes sense, but executing it is a hundred times harder than saying it. --- Going from 50,000 to 100 million, honestly, it's just about not blowing up your account. Everything else is luck. --- You have to survive to join the next wave—there's nothing wrong with this logic. Unfortunately, most people just want to get rich quick.

Staying alive is already a win—I like that saying. But the reality is that most people can't even survive through two bull and bear cycles.

Just being alive is already a win—this saying is spot on. Damn, I've been trading crypto for three years and never really understood this. Every time I go all in, I feel like I'm the chosen one, but then my account ends up like a roller coaster.

Just being alive makes you a winner. It sounds harsh, but it really hits the mark.
