A certain platform CEO predicts: All assets will eventually be tokenized, and the financial industry will have to be reinvented.

Abstract generation in progress

[BitPush] The CEO of a leading compliant platform, Brian Armstrong, recently made a bold prediction: tokenization will completely transform the financial game. His reasoning is straightforward—any asset that can be put on-chain will eventually be on-chain, because it represents a qualitative leap in user experience.

He highlighted three killer advantages: first is real-time settlement, which eliminates the persistent issue of counterparty risk; second, liquidity and accessibility will surge, allowing ordinary people to participate in assets that were previously out of reach; and most importantly, an efficiency revolution, as cumbersome approval processes and intermediaries can all be streamlined.

In short, it’s about using blockchain technology to completely revamp the slow traditional financial system, making the movement of money and assets as fast as sending a message.

Here we go again. Let's just wait and see. By the time that day actually comes, we might all have turned into fossils.

Here they go making big promises again, but where's the real implementation? Real-time settlement sounds great, but the real issue is regulatory compliance. Put everything on-chain? Does that mean my house has to be tokenized too? That's hilarious. A surge in liquidity does have room for imagination, but someone has to be the buyer first. It all sounds nice, but it's just another excuse to fleece retail investors.

Seriously? All assets have to be on-chain? Feels like they're just making big promises again, haha. Same old rhetoric—every time it's about reinventing finance, but what actually happens? Real-time settlement is definitely nice, but how are you going to get past the regulators, my friend? Explosive liquidity sounds great, but let's see how it actually gets implemented. There are definitely more intermediaries, but some risk controls do rely on them. Faster information doesn't equal faster finance, let's not exaggerate. Let's wait until it's actually widely adopted before hyping it up—it's still early. This guy is always so optimistic; I believe half of what he says.
