Recently, I've been feeling really irritable because of the client during my business trip.
I vented to my wife, and she shared these three sentences with me, hoping I could let things go a bit. After hearing them, I felt they were pretty good, so I wanted to share them with everyone below ⬇️
The first sentence is about controlling your temper: Wise people solve problems, while foolish people vent their emotions. Controlling your emotions is partly out of respect for others and partly to protect yourself.
The second sentence: True “going with the flow” means not forcing things after you've given it your all, not just throwing up your hands and doing nothing.
The third sentence is about learning to be silent. Silence is a rational response. Calm people never explain, wise people never argue. Leave some space for others, and also give yourself some leeway.
