In the past six months, I've been mixing in the YGG Discord and task channels, and the more I look, the more I feel that these people have quite the ambition.

In plain terms, they no longer want to continue being that "equipment distribution - team farming - loot sharing" gold farming intermediary. Now they are playing a different game: every minute you spend in the blockchain game, every rare item you obtain, and even every governance vote you cast, are all contributing to building your digital persona.

**From Mercenary Camp to Guild Hall**

The early model was actually quite ruthless—like an assembly line factory, where you operated the controls, the boss rented NFTs to you, and in the end, profits were shared based on output. Mechanical but efficient. However, in the past year, the situation has changed. Each sub-DAO has carved out its own territory, with tactical teams specializing in MOBA, self-media groups evaluating blockchain games, and data enthusiasts focusing on economic models. You are no longer an unknown nobody in this space, but rather a "named person" who can gain a voice based on strength or creativity.

**Another asset list outside of the equipment slot**

In the past, we focused on the candlestick charts, watching our tokens in the wallet rise by a few points. Now YGG is teaching us to look at another chart: how much reputation is that legendary weapon in the backpack worth? How many team invitations can the achievement medals displayed on the personal homepage be exchanged for? That vote you cast in the DAO proposal, how many people remembered your ID?

These things do not have real-time quotes, but they constitute your "social credit score" in this circle. The market can make tokens go to zero, but it cannot take away the social capital you have accumulated.

**The task board is turning into an on-chain resume**

Recently, I noticed a detail: after completing the high-difficulty tasks released by YGG, what you receive is not only reward tokens but also an on-chain certificate with a timestamp. This thing is very much like your professional resume—it will tell future players that this player has independently completed a challenge that required top-notch skills or strategies in a certain year and month.

The feeling of being unfinished is very obvious, but the direction is clear: YGG is pushing the concept of "gold farming" towards "establishing a digital identity." Your gaming time is no longer just a cost for exchanging money, but rather the raw material for shaping your persona in the Web3 world.
